This system is an overall projection type Sensor, Not reflection type one!
- Gets data from near infrared specturum at the optical fiber located at the other side of the halogen lamp projector
- Can check peel puffing fruits, internal defected fruits let alone brix and acidity.
- Speaking of reflective type sensors that are regarded as conventional, projected lights penetrate into fruits with a depth of 10mm~12mm from the fruit surface and then the bounced lights are reflected to sensor to collecting data. And this old system cannot detect internal defects with peel puffing fruits.
- For example, harvested citurs, especially after January, tend to have many peel puffing citrus so in Japan overall projection types are adopted in principle and also proven to be excellent with measuring Brix and acidity.
How 'PureSpect' work

- Hologen lamp Projects near infrared light onto fruits.
- Optical fiber sensor collects the projected lights and then transferred the data into Sensor box
- The sensor box forwards the data to computer to get the necessary data to meet with instant analysis and the quality sorting.
